Country Casuals

On Bank Holiday Monday we went for a little walk in the countryside, and before the rains came this week, it was beautiful Spring weather.

I'm currently having a love affair with this 1940s suede jacket that I bought last year from Portobello market but didn't really wear for some reason. It's the perfect weather for it right about now!

It's Freddies Pedal Pushers time again too

I bought my little white 50s pumps at the Classic Carboot Sale for £5! (If you look closely you'll see where I had an encounter with nature...a stinging nettle, and had to wedge a dock leaf inside my shoe!)

I cannot bloody wait for Summer.........

  1. There's just something about the combination of suede and red that makes me smile :) You look so beautiful and carefree in this lovely ensemble!

  3. I equally love this look and the lovely scenery, agreed that your jacket is perfect. It reminds me of a favorite suede 40's skirt that I love. :)

  6. "An encounter with nature", that made me laugh, if it was me I'd be completely covered in nettle stings! I went on a bike ride recently and ended up in a bramble.

Fab outfit and super photos. P x

  7. At one moment, a thought went through my mind: you were over here. It looks exactly like it's taken in our own little place under the sky.
    It looks wonderful.
Oh - open shoes VS nature... never a fair fight.
